Social Media Manager

A global consumer beauty company is looking for a Social Media Manager to join their team.

The Social Media Manager's responsibilities will be to:
• Provide editorial direction and digital strategy for all social media channels based on objectives for the year, launch focuses, and consumer needs/behavior
• Work with team to develop monthly content calendar
• Responsible for daily content posts, community management, and answering questions and comments
• Work closely with creative content consultant to match creative with copy
• Perform monthly analytics using the following tools:
o Facebook Insights
o YouTube Analytics
o Iconosquare
o Twitter Counter
o Radian 6

Requirements:
• 4-6 years experience in social media management and content creation for social media/digital
• Experience creating content for beauty, luxury, fashion brands/companies
• Experience working with social media analytics tools
o Facebook Insights
o YouTube Analytics
o Iconosquare
o Twitter Counter
o Radian
• Open-minded to creative strategies and new ideas with a focus on pro-active problem-solving
• A self-starter who wants to see results quickly
• Collaborative but able to work independently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Deep knowledge of social media and digital culture from theory to real, personal experiences
• BA/BS required (Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field preferred)
• Have an understanding of social media tools and nuances of copy count, copy changes, on each tool
