One of our valued Fortune 500 financial investment clients is in need of a Social Media Manager to develop and implement social media strategy, drive program awareness, and encourage social media adoption.

About The Role:
Our client is looking for a highly intelligent, versatile, social media savvy, personable and action-oriented individual with excellent judgment and equal measures of strategic, tactical, project management, and communications capabilities. This exciting role will be assisting in the management of a major social media initiative for the firm’s 7,000 national Financial Advisors.

The Job Description
• Drive and manage implementation of social media tools (starting with LinkedIn as a sales and communications tool to speak to existing customers and acquire new customers) targeted at Financial Advisors
• Work in close collaboration with Technology, Compliance, Legal, Communication, and other partners across the organization to understand each group's needs and implications related to social media and drive a social media strategy with these requirements in mind
• Create and manage social media content, working with creative teams, to drive advisor's social media strategy
• Develop qualitative and quantitative analyses and reports on usage, impact, and satisfaction of Wealth Management Americas social media platforms, leveraging results to identify improvement opportunities
• Synthesize and clearly present recommendations to facilitate a coherent decision-making process
• Create and manage plans to track project team activities and deliverables
• Work with advisors to discuss needs related to social media, develop practical usage guidelines, identify best practices, and answer compliance-related questions
• Present insights to line management; building consensus around recommendations and aligning organizational solutions to key findings
• Synthesize corporate and external resources to provide advisors with best practices on how to leverage social media to build their business

Requirements
• Bachelor’s or graduate degree with evidence of academic success
• Relevant social media work experience (4-5 years); ability to write for a social media audience
• Strategic marketing experience, preferably in the financial services industry
• Proven ability to communicate in writing and orally within high-pressure and demanding environments
• Collaborative and works effectively in a team environment
• Positive, driven, energetic, and excited by challenge; able to roll up his/her sleeves to get the job done and to motivate others to operate similarly
• Thinks comfortably at both the strategic and operational level
