Social Media Manager

Firebrand are excited to be partnering with this exciting start up who are searching for Social Media Manager to drive social across the business. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this position is responsible for social and online communities. You will be required to build a social media plan and influence the strategy across this channel to drive brand awareness, acquisition, customer service engagement. You will also manage social marketing campaign budgets and be responsible for any external supplier or agency activations, ensuring campaigns are optimised and achieve set objectives. A key component of this role will also be customer service orientated, ensuring timely and accurate responses across all communities to questions from the audience.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Devise and execute a leading social strategy that drives consumer engagement across multiple social platforms and builds a credible social personality that appeals to our target market
• Develop community guidelines that will ensure the brand is cohesively represented across all channels and clearly outlines expectations from a customer service perspective (response times etc.)
• Ensure that brand awareness, brand recognition and recall are growing strongly against set objectives
• Work with the Head of Marketing to set KPIs for performance of community channels from a growth and engagement perspective
• Manage the execution of community marketing campaigns, ensuring all content plans and ATL activities are aligned with strategic plans
• Liaising and managing with external suppliers to deliver branded and integrated campaigns and collateral
• Take ownership of community engagement and facilitate involvement with internal departments as required
• Assure prompt and professional communication if issues arrise
• Ensure that the brand remains at the forefront of product evolution on social platforms and is communicating with audiences accordingly
• Understand the social landscape and bring to management any suggested innovations the the company could adopt to grow against objectives
• Train staff as required to use social and community platforms, with the goal of engaging our customers and creating a sense of efficiency within the business

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 3 years+ within a similar social media focused role
• Proven history of setting social media strategies and managing execution across all social channels including: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Google+, Tumblr, Instagram
• Independent self-starter; high attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written communication skills
• Proven track record of building audience/ community size and engagement
• Understanding of cost-effective use of paid media to increase reach and engagement
• Proven experience in using listening tools to increase engagement and ATL campaign ROI
• A keen interest and passion in content marketing
• Excellent sensibility for brand and passionate about innovative marketing communications
• Budget and reporting experience
