Do you live and breathe TV Entertainment and Social Media?
Our client is in search of a Social Media Strategist to support one of our leading entertainment clients in the day-to-day management of several different TV properties and across multiple social channels. Your day to day will include creative ideation, copywriting, managing and building social editorial calendars, creative asset development, posting across social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr, live tweeting and daily community management. You must understand platform best practices, have strong project management experience and superb client management skills.
Work closely with the account team and client to develop editorial calendars for multiple channels
Provide community management support for multiple social channels
Work with creative team to coordinate production of assets for posting
Identify community insights and spot trends to inform content strategy and recommendations
Manage different social communities including identifying key influencers, voice and tone.
Brainstorm strategy and new creative ideas for content and campaigns
Provide social analytics reporting and analysis
BS or BA degree in Communications, Marketing, Creative Writing or related field.
3+ years of experience working in an agency environment on social media campaigns
Thorough knowledge and expertise posting on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
Excellent skills in using Microsoft Word Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs
Experience with content creation and editorial development
Excellent writing skills
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge and experience using Tumblr, Pinterest, Snapchat and YouTube a plus
Experience working in entertainment-related role a plus
