The team is a group of data analysts, designers, writers, digital marketers, and strategists working within Marketing tasked with shaping and delivering—seamlessly and in real-time—the consumer, industry, and marketing insights that our customers need to win on the web. Client is at the forefront of a revolution in marketing—a shift from traditional ads to personalized, relevant and engaging formats. Through our social channels, emails, site and other channels, we share real-time insights, research, data, and perspectives on the evolving landscape for marketers today. With a focus on what’s top of mind for executives at large advertisers and agencies, we aim to help our customers understand how they can make the web work for their businesses.
At the heart of our value proposition to large advertisers and agencies is industry-leading content and insights from a unique point of view. You’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, analyzing, and iterating our organic social media activities. Partnering with our social editor/copywriter and social designer, you will prepare, publish, and analyze all posts on social channels, with a focus on using innovative tactics, deep user knowledge and data-driven insights to improve performance.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
-Partner with social editor/copywriter and social designer to prepare and publish all posts across social channels, including managing the publishing calendar and building links
-Compile data across several social media platforms and create weekly/monthly reports
-Develop data-driven analysis for insights, optimizations, and future strategy development of organic posts
-Propose and implement new data taxonomies to gain actionable insights into organic post performance
-Harness social listening and other tools (including Google Analytics, Sprinklr and Crimson Hexagon) to gain insights into post performance, audience interests, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and tactics for growth
-Propose and execute innovative tactics and data-driven tests to increase social performance
-Review past post performance and propose opportunities for re-promotion and post repurposing
-Propose and implement a system to migrate data from existing data library to new data library
BA Degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years of relevant work experience)
2+ years experience as a social media manager at a creative, digital agency or digital publisher
In-depth experience creating, publishing and analyzing organic posts on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, G+, Instagram
Strong attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to execute according to plan and deliver measurable results
Experience and skills in collecting, planning, analyzing, and interpreting a diversity of data structures (including: Google Analytics, Sprinklr and Crimson Hexagon)
Deep knowledge of and fascination with emerging trends, tools, and tactics in social media
Excellent collaboration skills and a team mindset
Strong written and communication skills
Proven strong organizational, analytical, and independent problem-solving skills, as well as outstanding written and oral communication skills
Nice to Have:
Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects across cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
Experience with basic statistical programming packages (e.g. R, matlab) a plus
Fluency in Excel or Google Sheets
