Position- Social Media Manager
Location- Mountain View, CA
Start date- ASAP
Duration- 12 Month Contract

Hourly pay rate range- $35-39/hr - DOE

Aquent's client, a large tech company headquartered in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Social Media Manager for a 12–month assignment.

In this role, you will help administer the social media marketing and advertising for client’s mobile hardware business. You will be responsible for helping drive word of mouth and buzz in social media about new mobile hardware devices.

Responsibilities include:
- Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
1. Ideate and manage production of social media content that promotes mobile hardware made by client among client’s social media communities
2. Project manage UGC-driving social media campaigns with both internal partners and external agencies
3. Manage development of paid social media ads with advertising agency; manage localizing and distributing those ads for global partners

Overview of the role and additional responsibilities:
- Develop relevant content topics to reach target customers.
- Monitor, listen and respond to social media users
- Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.
- Collaborate with the influencer outreach team and advertising agency to conduct online advocacy and UGC-driving programs
- Oversee design of social media visuals assets
- Manage creation of ads for social media advertising campaigns. Manage localization and distribution of those ads to global partners.
- Compile reports for management showing results.
- Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
- Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding our brand and products
- Report notable threats to appropriate management.

Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, journalism or similar field
- 3-5 years of experience in social media marketing
- 3 - 5 years of experience within project management of social media campaigns, social media community management, paid social advertising
- Experience with social media listening and measurement tools (similar to Sysomos or Crimson Hexagon)

Nice to Have Skills/Not Required:
- Experience with Photoshop is a Plus!
- Experience and or knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, Trix.
- Experience within consumer/consumer tech marketing
