Social Media Manager

We're seeking a Social Media Manager for a contract position with one of our top entertainment clients in Burbank. This new role is charged with developing and enhancing our client's “voice” across our expanding social media platforms. Additionally, this role is accountable for the management, planning and execution of social platform strategies, social concepting, crafting “Mom”, targeting Moms of young kids (preschool-plus, 2-7 years old). She/he will further evolve the editorial and creative voice, utilizing the most appropriate and effective social media platforms, and leverage the most relevant micro- and short-form content, and other socially-savvy creative assets. She/he will partner with multiple teams including Marketing, Creative Writer/Producers, Ad Sales, Media Relations, Franchise, Legal, S&P, and Programming Strategy. Responsibilities will include:

• Set the appropriate and innovative social media strategy, conversations/editorial direction and content with our consumers, employ on the appropriate social platform, and utilize analytics to understand performance to optimize and adjust moving forward.
• Bring topline campaign strategies to life with unique social concepts that engage audiences in a new way, aligned to overall positioning and creative tones with a fresh social perspective & customized experience.
• Drive the daily editorial voice and creative pov in new and compelling ways, leveraging all types of content (micro, gif, meme, video, etc) that are relevant to “Millennial Moms” and caregivers
• Proactive in identifying social trending moments and platform behaviors that our client can tap into and leverage in daily content creation/conversation.
• Analyze the performance of Social Media publishing efforts both for various brand and different content types - including views, streams, clicks, shares, subscriber/fan growth, etc.
• Understand how to best use social strategies and tactics to amplify reach of our message in attracting new fans and driving engagement with current fans.
• Deliver consistent social media & marketing campaign learnings to our international teams, while identifying ‘best in class” strategies to inform US efforts.
