Exciting opportunity for Social Media Specialist who is ready to take the next step their career. This role will suit a Social Media Specialist who brings a minimum of 3 years solid experience. You will now be ready to take full charge of creating / developing the social media strategy by drawing on key insights from existing data, technology and research whilst supporting business unit and brand requirements.

You will be a Social Media champion, with the ability to increase engagement metrics across all social communities, whilst also growing social advertising revenue and improving ROI. They will be a commercially focussed marketer with strong track record of driving revenue growth. The role will deliver world-class campaigns via innovative executions and data led executions.

Responsibilities:

Work with agency partners and the Group Senior Marketing Manager – Digital Advertising to develop the social media strategy
Carry out an audit of current social media processes, tools, platforms and agency partners, to formulate recommendations on future approach
Regularly monitor online trends and competitors to ensure leading edge of social media innovation, channel development and growth
Build relationships with key industry influencers to harness new opportunities
Develop content strategy, feeding into content calendar
Manage social media communities including social listening, encouraging conversation and responding to customers
Maximise social listening insights, feeding these into the marketing team, assisting to identify trends and to develop customer centric strategies
Manage bloggers/ambassadors and leverage partnerships to deliver engaging content for social channels
Review crisis management processes developing recommendations for future approach. Ongoing management and optimisation of these processes
Develop and execute social advertising strategy, supporting a range of ad types (eg. offer ads, Mobile App download ads, Loyalty ads etc)
Drive innovations in social advertising space, positioning brand as market leaders
Leverage data profiling opportunities, programmatic advertising and seamless integration into TVC strategy
Responsible for managing Social Advertising budgets as outlined by the Group Senior Marketing Manager – Digital Advertising with agency.
Establish a clear and mutually agreed operating rhythm with key stakeholders, e.g. business units, studio, research and analytics.
Be a social media ambassador within the business, sharing knowledge and best practice
Deliver social agenda for all business units across all social channels
Manage key relationships with our Social Advertising media partner and social media platform providers. Includes holding regular WIPs, and performance meetings.
Develop the social media strategy, budget requirements, delivery logistics, timelines, and projected reach of message
Ensure all activity is appropriately tracked to enable ROI analysis
Liaise with Legal and the Brand & Campaign team to ensure all campaigns are appropriately approved before launch
Build technical knowledge to effectively understand and adapt to new and emerging opportunities Develop Quarterly Budget and Forecasting in line with yearly budgets and plans
Develop highly functioning reporting suite to deliver an improved level of visibility around success of posts, ads and ROI analysis
Provide Social activity evaluations against objectives to assess success and provide recommendations for future activities.

Essential Experience Required:

Extensive experience and understanding in all digital areas – social media, website management and usability, digital marketing, optimised content, Google analytics, social monitoring tools (eg, Radian6)
Proven track record in delivering customer engagement and increased revenues
Highly analytic mindset, with the ability to generate and analyse complex reports to draw insights
Demonstrated leadership experience
Ideally well connected within the broader digital marketing community
Advanced computer knowledge
Customer service focus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to plan and organise
Attention to detail
Achieve objectives and accepts accountability for results
