We have a great opportunity for a social media fanatic! Our client is looking for a Social Media Manager to collaborate with the Marketing/Communications department for a rapidly growing youth music organization and car museum. This person will have the unique opportunity to work as part of a dynamic, fun and rapidly growing organization. You will be joining a team of professionals committed to providing exciting experiences to children and adult lives!

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the social media and web presence platforms for three brands/companies;
  • Project managing organizational campaigns, ensuring brand consistency, best-in-class materials, and fluid coordination across teams;
  • Copywriting and editing of materials, on-line campaigns, and other needed content;
  • Producing and managing content for newsletters and other print communications that will support critical campaign and/or initiative goals;
  • Editing a range of organizational and campaign-focused written materials to ensure clarity, conciseness and effectiveness;
  • Managing all social media, including the creation of strong, persuasive blog content and creating and executing all social media advertising;
  • Designing, branding and executing a successful social media campaign for three brands;
  • Managing, maintaining and growing the library of shared collateral, photos, videos, and documents;
  • Working with vendors to design and develop product


  • Qualifications:
  • Strong commitment to and alignment with the music program, car museum and other related businesses;
  • Minimum of 5 years experience and/or combination of education and experience in social media;
  • Prior use of social media including Twitter, Facebook and blogs;
  • Skilled at developing audience-specific, persuasive content, translating policy issues into straightforward communications that will resonate with a diverse range of stakeholders;
  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Docs;
  • Excellent writing and editing skills;
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills;
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and work at different locations in the local area throughout the day ( so you’ll need a reliable mode of transportation);
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends as job requires;
  • Ability to set and adhere to strict deadlines; comfortable working in a creative environment with occasional short lead times;
  • A strong sense of drive and ability to achieve successful outcomes


  • Highly Desired (though not a deal breaker) Qualifications:
  • Video and Google Analytics highly desired;
  • Knowledge of graphic design trends and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
  • HTML/CSS skills a huge plus
