Social Media Manager

Our client is looking to hire an excellent writer/editor for their social media channels, primarily LinkedIn and Twitter. Must be a fast and fluid writer. Someone with an instinct for how target audiences will perceive messages/posts and who can quickly distill complicated subject matter into the right content and tone. Clarity, brevity, and a sense of humor are key. This is an excellent long-term contract career opportunity working for a major corporation. Responsibilities include: writing, editing and publishing content for social media; monitoring social media channels and alerting internal stakeholders as needed; updating editorial calendar; working closely with internal clients and subject matter experts, assessing and consulting on social media opportunities and/or risks. REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 3-5 years proven social media writing/editing experience. Relevant social media writing samples required as well as strong online/social media presence.
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
• Healthcare, financial or other highly regulated industry experience highly preferred.
• Social Studio/Radian 6 or related technical skills required.
• Sprinklr experience a plus
• Jibe experience a plus
• Journalism, Communications/English or Communications or related degree
