Social Media Manager / Strategist

My client is looking for someone to manage their on-site social media team for a client portfolio spanning a number of leading FMCG brands and act as the main point of contact for key stakeholders. Reporting directly to agencies MD this is a crucial role within the agency and the wider client social media team. In this role, you will be having regular high-level conversations with key stakeholders, developing solutions and ensuring that your team deliver on KPIs.

Key Responsibilities include;
• Manage the agency social media team and act as the main point of contact for all team members regarding any issues, feedback, and account services inquiries
• Attend and lead regular catch-ups with the social media team and key contacts
• Run and attend external WIPS/meetings with partner agencies and stakeholders
• Monitor and manage quality control across all brands, reports, and other key projects
• Organise training sessions for client and brand teams as required

You will oversee;
• Digital monitoring and measurement to assess opportunities and gain authentic consumer insights
• Channel management to ensure the tactful execution, set up and maintenance of social media profiles to optimise engagement with online communities
• Quality of content and effectiveness of ideation process and execution across pages

You will be leading the team to deliver in the following areas;
• Community management, planning, and implementation
• Deployment, amplification and measurement of the ideas and content
• Measurement, evaluation and reporting on social media team performance, and issues
• Provide direction, leadership and coaching to the social media team
• Co-ordinate work efforts of others to ensure integration and completion of work against client expectations
• Provide feedback to others in order to enhance their job performance
• Balance multiple projects, meetings and priorities while adhering to strict time guidelines
• Must maintain, evaluate and communicate project status throughout the organization
