Social Media Manager - 6 Month Contract

Our client are a fantastic, global architecture company based in Central London, currently looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to help them out for 6 months initially, with the possibility to extend!
They have someone in a similar position at the moment who will be on maternity leave from the beginning of April, so ideally they would like this candidate to start end of March in enough time to hand over.

The client are currently re-designing their overall website and they would like this to have a huge impact on their social media, using it as an opportunity to increase their brand awareness.

On a day-to-day basis, this candidate will work as part of the online team, devising and executing strategies, solving problems, working closely with the Head of Online and alongside their marketing team, to engage their target audiences across the core social channels in multiple countries. Deliverables include weekly content calendars (copy and creative) and campaigns as needed by the business.

Candidates must have an excellent understanding of social media channels including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, but most importantly to have a thorough understanding of LinkedIn specifically. LinkedIn is where the brand are currently getting most of their traction from and they would like to utilise this and have someone in who can implement an effective social strategy to improve it even further. They will also be re-visiting who they partner with in this area, so this candidate will be involved in their social media pitches.

Our client also work/ partner with a huge range of different industries so they would like to have someone with varied experience who can adapt their ideas to different sectors.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Detailed experience of LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram from a business perspective.
- 3-5 years experience in social media roles ideally.
- To work well in high-pressured environments, ensuring deadlines/ release dates are met.
- Be a team player but also self sufficient as there will be lots of independent working.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring production of high quality, original and unique content.
