Our client, leading enterprise workflow solution for social media & reputation management at scale, seeks a Data Insights Analyst to come on board in one of their downtown offices, either San Diego OR Austin! This role will start at 25 hours/week for 60-90 days with potential to hire full time after that. This is someone who has current and recent experience in taking large unstructured data sets and turning these into actionable marketing insights. Overall, this is someone who can work with large unstructured data sets, understands how to do regression analysis and ultimately can turn actionable insights out of this type of data. ​

The Data Insights Analyst will help drive the company's brand awareness as well as user growth and retention using platform and product level data insights for the company's marketing team.

As a Data Insights Analyst, you will dive deep into the data stored within the company's Social Media and Reputation Management SaaS platform to uncover actionable insights and make recommendations that will influence the company’s insights branding efforts and client retention marketing strategies.  This position will works alongside our product, technology and marketing teams to deliver meaningful, digestible insights and trends from our platform data that will help grow our brand awareness and customer base through data-driven insights and optimizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop actionable insights and recommendations to support and guide our insights marketing efforts

  • Provide the team(s) with insights regarding social media marketing best practices complete with data visualizations

  • Leverage platform usage data to help model out an award system in partnership with company's Client Retention Marketing group that awards users at specific milestones / usage thresholds

  • Help bring to market an external score (social engagement score) - modeled off Facebook’s virality index and normalized by industry

  • Strong focus on automation to scale current and future processes

  • Communicate analytical findings and recommendations in a clear and concise way to non-technical audiences, both in oral and written presentations
