Social Media Coordinator

Are you a fitness nut who just loves social media?? Then I have a client looking to meet you!

SOCIAL MEDIA OVERALL GOAL: be creative and excel at turning social media measurements into

actionable insights.

o Use social media “know-how” to increase fan engagement.

o Determine best ways to continually tell our brand story in social media channels.

o Must continually grow numbers on all social media pages,

and adjust as needed, based on marketplace shifts.

o Keep a running log of the total number of our followers and update that log on the

1st of every month.

o On the 1st of the month a report is to also be submitted to the Senior Director of

Marketing that outlines the activity of the previous month, basically a simplified

monthly social media trend report (this report is also to include the total # of

followers as noted in the above bullet).

o Manage day-to-day posts on corporate Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest,

Tumblr, Google+, LinkedIn and other social media channels.

o Manage day-to-day posts for the CEO on Twitter and Instagram social pages.

o Work with design team to develop graphics and copy for all social media posts.

o Keep a consistent eye on what our competitors are doing on their social media

pages and report any relevant details in the monthly social media trend report.

o Keep an eye on overall trends that would typically impact the supplement category

(e.g., fitness, various sports, media alerts regarding ingredients or specific

supplement mentions in the press) and flag those advantages that could potentially

lead to new opportunities for the client on social media avenues.


o Act as liaison between Senior Director of Marketing and UK website development

team and UK website project manager.

o Supply all creative assets as requested, and relay feedback so that the team develops

a website that is creatively driven by the Marketing team.

o Oversee creation of website shopping cart

finance/accounting division involved in the sales tax and warehouse inventory

solutions issues.


o Assist with trade show and event planning.

o Create or update PowerPoint presentations.

o Primary contact with external software and website hosting providers.

o Responsible for ensuring all monthly/quarterly/annual invoices associated with anything

digital, social, website, domain names, web-hosting related is paid in a timely manner.

o Assist with training sales/marketing assistants on Gaspari Nutrition social media practices.

Desired Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree.

 2-3 years of corporate marketing experience.

 Prior agency experience preferred managing digital marketing efforts for established


 Proven project management skills.

 Database expertise preferred, but not required.

 Highly proficient writer with strong proofreading abilities.

 Solid presentation skills and ability to sell your work and ideas to other members of the
