Duration- 6 months with the possibility of being extended

Responsibilities
This position is responsible for working closely with the existing social media consultant on the strategic development and execution of the Northeast Area Social Media strategy. Included is delivery of all Social Media campaigns to support Company and Northeast Area KPIs using social platforms and digital media and a lifestyle Influencer team. The successful candidate must assist Verizon Wireless Northeast Area Social Media activities and be accountable for results.
• Works closely with the Social Consultant to develops, implement and maintain Northeast Area Social Marketing strategy to drive social media engagement, incremental sales and revenue.
• Creates and implements comprehensive social media campaigns that drive target behavior mapped to key consumer buying moments, holidays, promotions and offers. Included are internal campaigns to keep sales force focused on company KPIs.
• Communicates Social Media campaigns and reports results to sales force and internal stakeholders, including lessons learned and best practices for future campaigns.
• Integrates Social Media campaigns with traditional and digital media campaigns where appropriate.
• Assist in the management of all aspects of the Northeast Area Influencer team including: developing the annual calendar, reviewing and refining the calendar on a quarterly or more frequent basis if business developments dictate, managing weekly Twitter Chats; content calendars and local influencer events.
• Manages daily activity of outside social agencies and vendors ensuring suggested content is publicized and reporting includes blog readership and results for individual products and services.
• Manages Yelp reviews and reporting to NPS stakeholders.
• Ensures all campaigns and programs use creative that communicates effectively and within brand standards.
• Continually evaluates the Social Media landscape for innovative/new platforms to determine viability for our brand and overall Social Strategy.
• Communicates and works with 5 Regional marketing teams to support them in reaching their KPIs.
• Keeps current on industry trends and competitive activity to evaluate importance and possible impact to current or future Social Media Campaigns

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. Masters Degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years experience in social media with successful planning and managing social campaigns that drive to KPIs.
Experience executing successful social media campaigns with a deep understanding of how users engage and share across social media platforms.
Experience leveraging social media platforms and/or digital technology to connect with influencers, amplify key messages and foster cross-sharing of content.
He/She is comfortable with the continuous changing landscape in social media, can assess the changes and recommend how to best adapt to these changes.
Experience with Social Media tools and web analytics software preferred.
Has demonstrated ability to perform well and remain organized under tight deadlines.
