Social Media Coordinator

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for ensuring optimal engagement, social impact and relationship building with fan communities across all properties in social media. Position will perform research to develop and utilize a deep understanding of the fan’s connection to each specific property, in order to drive sales and revenue across a variety of titles on a number of social platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Tumblr, and Pinterest. Position is expected to track and analyze tactics that resonate and perform within specific communities and report those results to the team to determine best practices for maximum engagement and sales opportunities. Position will support the Social Marketing Specialist on all aspects of the campaigns and other designated special projects. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner, flexible, and able to quickly shift priorities, as required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Social Media Marketing Specialist with developing the Social Media Campaign Calendars (SOC)
• Maintain client communication calendars and reports
• Research films and fan communities to assist in creating social plans for a portfolio of properties
• Obtain or develop creative assets for social media engagement
• Implement elements of the campaigns as assigned as well as engage with fan communities and execute social media tactics across multiple social platforms for an assigned project
• Monitor and report on KPIs of social engagement and coordinate with the Analytics team for identifying trends, making recommendations for sales strategy and creating the wrap up reports.
• Publish the weekly social media dashboard for each campaign
• Create and maintain reports and presentations for internal and external partners
• Responsible for authoring, designing and managing sweepstakes campaigns through fulfillment
• Manage budgets, as assigned
• Administrative support for the Home Entertainment

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• BA/BS degree in Marketing or Communications preferred.
• 2+ years entertainment industry experience, preferably in a large studio or network.
• A strong interest in film and pop culture.
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
• PhotoShop or other graphic design software experience preferred.
• Experience using and communicating in social networks, blogs, and content sharing communities including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, Tumblr, Pinterest, Blogger, etc. .
• Must be a “self-starter” as well as work in a group project environment.
• Must have excellent communication & organizational skills.
