Social Media Coordinator

One of Australia’s foremost media agencies is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join their digital arm. Constantly pushing the boundaries across TV, print, outdoor and direct media they are pioneers in return on investment in new media as well. With strong growth in the social media and digital sector they are looking to expand their team.

You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of brand editorial implementation such as social media content and community activations across a large range of clients. With A-grade attention to detail and an insatiable drive to develop and deliver the best in class solutions, you will be a creative and energetic optimist that is keen on providing a key support role.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Contribution to social media strategy and activation ideas for clients
- Day to day analysis of social media monitoring and reporting for clients
- Contribute to & follow best practice in social media community management
- Follow best practice social media process to clients
- Upholding a professional & efficient response to client questions & communications
- Attending client work-in-progress meetings to deliver reports
- Co-ordination of brand content for social media engagement

Ideally you will bring to the role:
- Up to 12 months experience in Facebook community management & blogger outreach
- Training in relevant social media monitoring tools and workflow management tools (e.g. MediaCom Buzz, Oracle SRM, Facebook Training Modules)
- Creative thinking abilities
- Keen interest in the digital media marketplace

Additional abilities that would be highly regarded but not essential:
- Digital experience in social media
- Experience and understanding of social media monitoring tools
- Understanding of the media planning/buying process
