Social Media Coordinator

Our Agency client is looking for a Jr. Social Media Specialist to work with an internal Social Media team that oversees all strategic and day to day activities for multiple clients. This is a 40 hour a week onsite (in Irvine) role, 8+ month long contract.


  • Creative development & execution of social media campaigns and posts, promotions, events, editorial calendars, blogs, etc.

  • Manage client presence in social networking sites including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, and Pinterest.

  • Schedule, monitor, and report social media ad performance

  • Working with graphic designers and web development team to create social media graphics and creative

  • Monitor effective impacts of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results


  • 2+ years experience MINIMUM in social media/community capacity

  • Core competencies in content ideation, editorial calendar planning, running online promotions

  • Basic knowledge of design - photoshop, illustrator, indesign

  • Familiar with using social media as a business tool

  • Familiar with Facebook marketplace ads, Twitter Ads, Google Analytics (not a must have) , and social media management tools (Spredfast, Hootsuite, Wildfire, Raven, Simply Measured, etc.)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Comfortable working independently, taking lead on projects and contributing in meetings

  • Self-driven to achieve goals and “get things done”; dedicated work ethic a must

  • Eager to learn the workings of the agency and integrate with multiple cross-functional teams
