We are seeking a Social Media Content Strategist for one of our San Francisco clients. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, 40 hrs/week, onsite. The Content Strategist will be responsible for creating content as well as identifying appropriate content types, topics, tone and timing for each social media platforms. In this role you will need to evaluate the appropriate tone for each channel while maintaining the client's strong branding and tone of voice.

1. Responsible for identifying appropriate, relevant and timely content across all social channel
2. Develop objectives for content by channel. Work with internal and external managers to identify goals and metrics for success. Integrate metrics into content development process.
3. Generate portfolio of curated content for each of the external and internal social platforms. Create curated content based on targeted objectives for each channel, as well as in response to real-time events.
4. Monitor competitors and industry leaders to identify new types of content. Work with internal stakeholders to develop new content ideas across different channels.
5. Create weekly summary of upcoming content, populate content calendars and distribute schedule of content to internal stakeholders.
6. Coordinate with insights manager to evaluate success of each type of content, by channel, and adjust content development strategy accordingly.
7. Engage with different stakeholders around to brainstorm ideas for content based on client input, as well as feedback from colleagues.
8. Perform duties & responsibilities specific to department functions & activities.
9. Perform other duties & responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor.
