Social Media Content Manager

Our large retail Fortune 500 client is seeking a talented Social Media Content Manager! This is a solid 1 year contract with strong potential for extension.

Supports Content Strategy team as they:
-Approach content like a publisher/journalist, telling stories that resonate with our guest and ultimately drive the business forward
-Support content strategy around Target’s social media activities within our own communities and beyond, providing our guests with utility and sparking conversation across the social space
-Gather and synthesize insights and inputs from across marketing, the social team and most importantly, our guests, to create content strategies that maximize our impact in the social space
-Advise campaign owners on best way to maximize social reach and influence within their marketing mix, considering owned channels, paid channels and earned opportunities
-Maintain the editorial calendar, working with creative teams and external agency partners to create social-optimized content across platforms that provide utility to our guest and sparks conversation
-Leverage community management team and social monitoring tools to identify real-time trends and opportunities for social media engagement, quickly creating content when needed
-Work closely with Social Measurement team to identify measures of success, continually analyze content performance and use insights to inform future strategies and tactics
-Stay in touch with social media trends and drive for innovation in the space, piloting new ideas whenever possible
