Social Media Consultant (Linkedin)

Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a seasoned social media consultant with financial industry experience to support the implementation of social media programs designed to enhance brand awareness and enable Business Development and Relationship Managers on leading social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn—a key social media channel for building relationships with future clients.

Responsibilities include:

-Develop a template profile for our client's facing Business Development and Relationship Managers that can be individually customized with on-brand, on-guidelines content
-In partnership with Compliance, update educational materials to consider latest regulatory impacts and/or relevant platform functionality updates, and broaden applicability to all client facing roles
-Define a process for providing one-to-one as well as broad marketing support to Wealth Management client facing Team Members requiring guidance on establishing or enhancing their presence and effectiveness on social media
-Support leadership education of social media programs, opportunities, and results as appropriate

Requirements:

-Proven understanding of the value of as well as the risks inherent in the use of social media as a marketing/prospecting tool for financial services—ideally for wealth management and investments
-Proven expertise in leveraging LinkedIn as a business platform; knowledge of other leading social media channels as business platforms (e.g., Twitter, YouTube)
-Understanding of financial sales and the sales process—ideally for wealth management and investments
-Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
-Comfortable crafting and managing presentations (educational, other) at all levels of a matrix organization
