Social Media Consultant

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Media Consultant at an award-winning global technology company. Over this 12-month full-time contract you will work in the company’s plush London office, where you will report to the Head of Communications and be responsible for owning their social media strategy by conducting day-to-day community management, producing on-going quality content, analysing and reporting on activity as well as executing creative campaigns that support business needs. For this we are looking for a balanced and motivated individual who will join a fun and passionate team, immerse themselves in the company’s award-winning culture and ultimately ensure the successful execution of a world-class social media strategy.

Your responsibilities:

• Be an active listener: Daily listening & engaging within the social web, leveraging and responding as appropriate, and reporting back on findings.
• Be connected & be our voice: Develop and own a sustained customer and influencer outreach program with on-going engagement & recognition.
• Be insightful: Uncover, refine and iterate on key customer insights that drive engagement, contribution and participation, driving key initiatives to leverage across the business.
• Be curious and specific: Use thoughtful analytic approaches to build solid test plans and use data to make decisions about the impact of various social media and word of mouth efforts.
• Be a leader: Make social media everyone's job! Collaborating across functional groups to integrate social media into every customer touch point with clear and defined purpose. Stay abreast of current social media tools.
• Be a team-player: Work closely with the PR, Product and Web teams as well as agencies to ensure an integrated marketing approach that maximises impact.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of proven experience and passion to facilitate social media programs to drive business results and be a strong collaborator with a willingness to take risks
• Extensive knowledge of social media technologies, platforms, listening programs and tracking/analytics are critical.
• Previous experience leveraging spokespeople / influencer communities and managing content strategies to maximize brand and customer engagement
• Operates independently and efficiently to manage multiple tasks, priorities and projects simultaneously and successfully
• Demonstrated ability and self-motivation to excel within an environment of change, start-up mentality and a drive for continuous improvement
• Experience in similar marketing and social media roles expected as an individual driver.
