Social Media Community Manager (Technology Community)

I have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and driven Social Media Community Manager to join an innovative tech leader based in Reading, for a 12month contract.

You will be a key component within the social media strategy. This role will serve as ‘the voice’ to our consumers throughout our owned social channels, as well as off owned. The community manager is responsible for strengthening our relationships online through innovating with content and taking our engagement to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:
• Strong social media channel management – leading with creation and curation of innovative content to grow the audience base and increase engagement levels
• Driving the voice of the brand off owned channels – building ecosystem and influencer contacts
• Leverage social media listening to inform content and engagement strategy

Key Criteria:
• Background & knowledge in B2C technology
• Has demonstrated high level of collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups
• Understand how to create brand appropriate voice (non-corporate) which can build authentic, relevant, interactive B2C relationships in social media
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Energetic self-starter, with bias for action and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience with brand based marketing (ideally Brand Management or agency)
• Commercial communication planning & execution
• Photoshop skills desirable to amend social media design templates e.g. cover images, review of the week etc.

Desirable Criteria:
• Currently publish a personal blog or other form of digital content on consistent basis
• Demonstrated connection with consumer audience
• Experience with relevant technology & reporting tools (eg. Visible, Sprinklr, Web Trends)
