Social Media Community Manager

The AppExchnage Marketing Team is seeking a content marketing manager to develop top-notch social content and drive community – to help us engage and educate customers about business apps. The ideal candidate loves to write, and has total command of the ever-changing B2B landscape for social and content marketing. This position will be hired on a contractor basis (40 hours per week). However, success in this role may lead to a permanent employment opportunity in the future. Responsibilities - Write dynamic, engaging content to entertain, educate and engage the ecosystem. - Collaborate with agencies and creative services to develop game-changing ebooks, slideshares, infographics, Linkedin sponsored updates, etc. - Be the AppExchange voice on all our social channels. Listening, respond, and provoke the community to keep sharing and learning together. - Dig deep into customer success stories and turn them into peer/advocate marketing content. - Help define and analyze effectiveness by core metrics – traffic, installs, newsletter subscribers, and social followers. Required Skills & Experience: • 5+ years experience in marketing with an emphasis in content marketing, community building, and brand building/positioning. • Experience working with high level stakeholders including marketing leadership teams • Metrics-driven marketing mind and an appreciation/understanding of social marketing analytics • Client management experience, strong written and verbal communications, high credibility presence. • Excellent project management and organizational skills. • Experience working with ad agencies, graphic designers and media vendors to develop strong creative and execute campaigns.
• MBA is a plus, but not required.
