Hourly pay rate range- DOE- $29.70 maximum

Aquent's client, a large tech company headquartered in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Social Media Community Manager for a 12–month assignment at their Mountain View location.

In this assignment, you’ll be responsible for interacting with client's fans on social media, helping build an active community, and uncovering insights that help build brand love and make more fans.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
1. Understand community & get to know fans, customers and naysayers better than anyone.
2. Interact with them daily over social media, discover UGC to spotlight and surface your insights to the rest of the client team.
3. Grow a dedicated and loyal social media following & find opportunities to surprise and delight fans to build brand love.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Build meaningful community connections and encourage authentic engagement.
- Identify, cultivate and manage relationships with product and community influencers.
- Have a finger on the pulse of what’s happening in social media as well as trending topics and culturally relevant moments
- Measure social media efforts but also analyze competition and target audience to develop actionable insights.
- Be the voice and champion of the community and surface the feedback, opinions and creations of fans to cross functional teams with actionable recommendations.

Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree (no specific degree required).
- 4+ years experience in social media or community management.
- Deep understanding of social media strategies and tactics. Exceptional understanding of social platforms and the ability to stay current with the frequent updates to platforms.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex ideas into user-friendly, conversational communications.
- 2+ years of experience creating brand social posts and replies in a voice that’s genuine, humble and human.
- Strong understanding of social media metrics and ability to translate them into actionable insights.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, customer care, product and legal teams.
- Flexibility and composure under pressure.

Nice to have's:
- Proven record of creating social media content that reaches and engages a target audience.
- Demonstrated unique ways to surprise and delight customers through social media.
- Familiarity with Crimson Hexagon is a plus (but not a necessity).
- Design skills and experience creating images for social media is a plus (but not a necessity).
- Experience running large scale social campaigns with proven results.
- Influencer marketing experience is a plus.
