Social Media Communication Specialist

AQUENT is looking for a Social Media/Copywriter that has a passion for writing and keen understanding of the specific demands of digital media. You MUST have realtime experience working with Social Media channels  and your portfolio must showcase your work samples. 
Responsibilities include: writing tweets, basic writing for channels like LinkedIn, Facebook and Google+, supporting the creation of web content and working with a designer to create infographics 
Communications are primarily to support events and promote clients'  services and solutions to U.S. markets, both government (federal, state and local) and commercial (primarily banking, insurance, energy/utilities and healthcare) 
Must be able to write posts and identify complimentary images 
Must be able to keep a calendar - understand and schedule flow of postings 
Must have project management skills 
Ideally has understanding/background in IT industry (there is a challenge in learning about  complex offerings, and having previous experience would reduce the learning curve) 
Ideally has experience working with large enterprise markets - selling to government, large companies  Ideally has experience with Search Engine Optimization 
Must have experience with Microsoft Office 
Experience with Photoshop, and experience with social/digital tools, such as Hootsuite, Google Analytics 
Knowledge of Google AdWords, LinkedIn Sponsored Content and content syndication 

Talent will work with the communications team 
Customers - event managers, people who focus on web content and people who run communications
