Social Media Analyst

We're seeking a seasoned Analyst for a 3-month contract in Burbank! This position would be working directly with the VP of Marketing Strategy & Analytics to define and implement Marketing analytics strategy by partnering with Channel Marketing, Research, and Business Strategy. This individual will develop and present results assessments for priority Channel marketing and franchise tent-pole campaigns by setting up metrics across all major campaigns. The position will work with the Analytics team, Research and our client's external Media Agency in the development of on-going results metrics and ROI tools as well as identifying consumer and marketplace trends that impact the creative interpretation of our brands. This position is highly data-driven and the individual must be experienced in reviewing and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data and must demonstrate innovative ways to review analytics to identify common “themes” and trends within the data and communicate relevant insights and implications. Additionally, this position will work with Social Media using social listening tools and social platforms’ native analytics tools (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) to evaluate how our brands and properties are performing in the social space. He/she must be a self-starter who is comfortable defining the internal goals and functions of the team and a confident presenter. Specific responsibilities of this position include:

a) Determining what metrics most greatly impact marketing success
b) Identifying the data and measurements to be used to determine ROI and actionable results
c) Partnering with key stakeholders (e.g. Research, CRM and Media agencies) in developing the metrics to be used
d) Aggregating and analyzing the data in order to provide insights and a point of view on recommendations and
e) design and deliver work products (e.g. scorecards, dashboards, reports) that inform the marketing team on how to focus the work they produce

Results & Analytics: Implement ongoing ROI metrics
• Working with respective teams, provide results-based learning that addresses the effectiveness of campaigns.
• Develop and articulate key learning’s, trends and suggest refinements in overall marketing strategies.
• Partnering with Marketing Operations, develop metrics to better understand departmental operating efficiency.
• Understand budgets in order to recommend more efficient ways to utilize budgetary resources CRM: Working in conjunction with CRM and Research, identify key CRM related data to be analyzed and filtered to support our evolving CRM marketing strategies.
