Social Media Analyst

My client is seeking a Social Media Analyst to work within a newly formed team that is centralised around social media and marketing operations. They are there to show the value to the business of working with social media, they will be proving the data and translating it into a medium that the business can understand.

They will provide reports and analysis on information from social media, trending items etc. They will work to ensure that the right search terms are being use to pull reports and work with the business to drive community networks. They will be the driver to connect customers with products through social media.

They will have a proven background within social media Analysis and digital as well as ideally having worked within media channels. They will be a strong Analyst with insights knowledge so they can work with the right people to make the insights count.

The four key skills are;
- Drive to translate data to insights
- Detailed analytics background
- Good communications to work with the business
- Engaging, fun and confident

They will be working within a team of 5 and will need to be able to work on all levels and be empathetic, confident and be comfortable as part of a social and fun team. They will be able to be impactful and be able to translate the value of what they do to the business.

This will be a role that will pay up to £35000 and will start as soon as possible
The role will initially run until the end of June 2014

Interview process will be 2 stage with a presentation and competency interview framework
