Social Media Analyst

Position Summary – Social Media Analyst to help with analysis and insights of our social media networks. The role will gather data and provide insights to help drive growth and engagement across the brands social networks. This is a 6-month contract position.

Essential Functions
1. 50% Compile and analyze data of various social media networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, Google+, and Pinterest. Track performance of Partners social media presence, site traffic and engagement, revenue, sponsorships, and audience growth. Work closely with Social Media and Analytics teams to gather, analyze and report on the data.
2. 25% Provide insights and recommendations for social media based on the data analyzed
3. 20% Conduct social media competitive analysis. Stay up to date on competitive landscape and industry trends.
4. 5% Support technical implementation and quality assurance of the social media data

Percentages and duties may fluctuate or change throughout the year based on business needs.

Qualification Requirements - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to satisfactorily perform each essential duty.
Education / Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Marketing, Communications, or Business
• 1 to 4 years of experience in digital analytics and/or social media analytics
Language / Communication: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well in a cross-functional team
Mathematical / Reasoning Skills:
Computer Skills: • Excel (intermediate skills, need to be able to run functions and pivot tables), Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft PPT or Apple Keynote
• Experience with various social media and digital analytics tools, such as Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, and Google Analytics
• Knowledge of Tableau, Domo, or other data visualization and dashboarding tools a plus
• Knowledge of Nielsen, Canvs, or other TV measurement tools a plus
Other Skills & Abilities Required: • A strong team player, highly motivated, and highly organized
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
