SOCIAL MEDIA ANALYST

*Position Summary*

The Social Media Analyst will be responsible for social media listening and reporting across multiple channels. He/she will utilize our social media monitoring tool to report on campaign KPIs and produce clear and actionable performance dashboards. He/she will actively mine social media insights to recognize opportunity for amplification, crisis identification and response. He/she will work closely with social media campaign managers to ensure accurate and efficient campaign-specific reporting and will remain abreast of the latest changes and advancements in social media algorithms, channels and tools.

*Required Qualifications*

1. 2-5 years of experience in social media
2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize and manage large volumes of data
3. Ability to translate data into actionable insights
4. Data visualization skills
5. Experience with paid social planning and buying desirable
6. Proficiency with social media analytics through Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram
7. Proficiency with Brandwatch or equivalent social media listening platform
8. Experience with Sparkcentral or equivalent social customer service tool
9. Ability to communicate clearly in both written and oral form

*Preferred Qualifications*
1. Knowledge of media terminology
2. Highly organized, with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
3. Professional maturity, integrity, discipline, and a positive attitude
4. Creative and innovative within the social media platform
