Social Media Account Manager

Client:
Digital agency in Brooklyn that brings together product design, brand communications and social content to help businesses thrive. Currently growing their social media team, and are looking to round it out with a social account manager/producer to collaborate with social, strategy, design and technology teams.

Role:
As Account Manager/Producer you must be a hybrid between the client-facing Account Manager and detail-oriented and organized Producer. This role is for a solution-oriented thinker, and be able to advise clients on strategies to meet their digital marketing objectives. You must feel comfortable working with individuals at all levels within our client’s organizations and be able to work across cross-functional teams (social, strategy, design, analytics and technology). You must be able to understand marketing planning processes and ensure that client deliverables and expectations are not only met, but exceeded. This role will also be providing thought leadership, partnering with other agency leads, managing and collaborating with social strategy and content personnel, and providing oversight of content development and management. You must be both strategic and hands-on, have a strong management sensibility and be 100% committed to delivering fantastic creative ideas and work that stays on-objective, matching up to client challenges seamlessly.

Role + Responsibilities:
● Assumes role of day-to-day client contact - develops and cultivates strong relationship with client team
● Oversight of campaign development and management
● Possess the ability to sell advanced, strategic concepts, drive initiatives, and represent cross-disciplinary team
● Distills and interprets client feedback to communicate next steps and deliverables to team
● Maintains constant communication with Account Director on account status
● Lead collaboration across design, copy, strategy and social lead as well as production teams and producers
● Be hands on and eager to roll up your sleeves, even for tedious work
● Problem-solve day-to-day account issues as needed
● Multi-task and effectively manage a variety of projects concurrently
● Drive operational excellence and have an informed POV on all progress and success of ongoing projects
● Develop creative work of the highest quality by sharing knowledge of the client/business/brand and demonstrating strong creative judgment
● Ensure smooth running of finances and administrative systems
● Have finger on the pulse of Client’s social presence, social trends and channel shifts

● Looks for additional income opportunities for agency and value add opportunities for the client

Skills + Experience:
● 5-8 years digital marketing experience, most recently as an Account Supervisor/Manager/Producer or similar role at a digital agency
● Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) required.
● Experience working on all aspects of digital marketing with strong social experience
● Experience working on large social media line of business consisting of community management, social listening/intelligence and campaign development
● Experience in developing/delivering integrated social marketing campaigns required
● Experience delivering social community management and/or social listening services
● Experience managing a complex client and/or working with partner agencies
● Proven experience working across cross functional teams
● Natural leadership, motivational and organizational skills
● Superior written and verbal communication skills and outstanding presentation abilities
● Proven experience working on a large team and can work collaboratively and individually
● Experience in consumer electronics industry a plus
