Social Media Account Manager

Our client, a full-service social media agency with a passion for creating memorable conversations between brands and their consumers, is seeking a Social Media Account Manager.

This person will be responsible for growing, engaging, guiding, moderating and supporting client communities through platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Yelp, Pinterest and other social networking properties. We're looking for a strategy expert – someone who not only uses social networks but actively “gets” them, and understands how to best use them for maximum user engagement. You should be the person who is constantly researching ways to improve our client’s user base and a strong passion to learn more. The position reports in to the Account Director.

Responsibilities:
• Crafts content aligned with strategic vision set by Account Directors, Vice President and Partners
• Creates and manages editorial calendar of all content being distributed out through various channels
• Develops and maintains brand voice for multiple clients (some client facing)
• Manage and build relationships with industry bloggers, journalists, and key influencers
• Regularly attends client meetings to communicate content vision and processes
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to balance post requests
• Recommend revisions and future plans based on analysis of campaign data
• Proactively find and test out new tools, vendors, applications to improve the community and fan experience in our social spaces
• Monitor trends in social media technologies, tools, and applications and apply that knowledge to our social communities
• Conceptualize and execute fan acquisition programs to grow community size

Desired Skills & Experience:
• 4-5 years account management experience
• Previous experience running Social Media marketing campaigns across multiple platforms with multiple stakeholders
• Advanced knowledge of Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Vimeo, Vine, Instagram, Pinterest and Foursquare
• Strong writing ability, particularly in the context of writing content/posts/updates on social networks and blogs
• Grammatical proficiency
• Extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Working knowledge of Strategic Implementation tools such as EdgeRank, Radian 6, Offerpop, North Social, Tracx, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.
• Ability to work well under strict deadlines and in a high-stress environment while juggling multiple projects
• Flexibility both with schedule and with responsibilities
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) are a must
• Basic Graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator)
