Social Media – Graphic Designer

Our corporate, healthcare client has an immediate need for a hands-on graphic designer with social media flair to round out their Integrated Marketing team.This is a contract position located on-site in San Francisco. This is a part-time opportunity working on average 25-30 hours a week.

The ideal candidate will know how to tell a story with pictures and truly believe that a picture is worth a million words.

You'll develop unique branded content from concept to execution including memes, infographics, ever-

green content, and trending creative assets for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and

other social media channels – from scratch.

Yes, you understand the power of pictures. But more importantly, you know how to channel that power to

compel action from a single image. You are social media savvy and can tap into the collective

conversation in relevant and compelling ways. Your designs cut through the clutter and demand attention.

You will directly support the Proactive Posting Strategy developed by the Social Media team to drive

the conversation on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn and more to grow our followers and improve

brand sentiment across our social channels.

Responsibilities:

 Develop custom branded content specific to each social media channel

 Build a library of creative assets sized for each channel that can be used in an evergreen fashion

 Design on the fly to meet specific social media content trends as they arise across the web

 Support specific social marketing campaigns across lines of business to create unique branded

content to achieve key marketing or business initiatives (including acquisition, retention, and lead

gen)

 Collaborates daily with our Social Media Strategist and Social Media Community Moderator, and

Social Media Marketing Specialist to ensure consistency of messaging implementation of content

strategy.

 Develops and owns the social media creative asset library

 Partners with key stakeholders (including Brand and our Internal Creative Team) to ensure

consistency of look and feel and to stay on brand

 Stays abreast of competitor’s online and social activity to identify opportunities and best practices and

to help our client track and compare our efforts
