Social Media / Blog / Content Writer

Our global client is seeking a diverse Social Media / Blog / Content Writer to help cover for an employee leave. This position will be about 5 - 8 hours / day Monday through Friday from 2/20/18 to 6/1/18 on-site in Philadelphia. Training will be 2/20/18 - 2/23/18 from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm. Then a similar schedule will begin 3/1/18 to 6/1/18 (25-40 hours / week - may fluctuate depending on workload). 

Responsibilities:

Social Media – primary work

  • Posts in Social Media Content Manager - Buffer (software) – can train on this software if not familiar with it  
  • Updates in Buffer, insert graphics, proofread
  • Monitor all social media platform for consumer posts

Blogging

  • Using the basics in Word Press Software

Content Writing - Mail Chimp skillset a plus

  • Writing Content for company announcements
  • Web content experience a plus
  • Mail Chimp skillset a plus

Video Production - secondary work

  • Producing and editing video - Editing in Adobe Premier software skillset

Graphic Design Skills (Photoshop/InDesign) - tertiary work

  • HTML CMS updates with graphic design skills to update PSD or Illustrator file artwork shown on site – will use to update site with new catalog content and monthly updates

 

Requirements:

  • Quick learner / self-motivated
  • Previous Social Media writing experience
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt a style, tone, and voice of business various types of content
