AQUENT is looking for a Professional Bloggers to primarily responsible for conceptualizing, writing, editing and promoting the content of a corporate. This is a long term assignment, 40 hours per week, onsite. No Remote Work!!
Whether they’re in charge of a personal blog or a corporate blog, the core duties of a Blogger are essentially the same: they must come up with post ideas, conduct research for each post, write in an engaging and clear manner, check their work for errors, find relevant photos to include with the post and publish the post on a specific date. Before a blog post can be written, a Blogger first has to decide what it’s going to be written about. In either a corporate or personal setting, Bloggers need to take tone, style, marketing goals and target audience into account. Bloggers will also need to find recent data on their readership through a number of digital analytical tools.
Bloggers must write the article from scratch. And because of this, superb writing skills are a must, especially in regards to clarity and readability. Additionally, Bloggers must also be able to thoroughly edit each post draft and eliminate awkward wording, misspellings, inaccuracies, inconsistencies and grammatical errors.
It is crucial that Bloggers have a solid understanding of content management software, such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla! and Magento. Bloggers need to know how to use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Clicky, to monitor traffic. In addition to attracting visitors to their blog, Bloggers should also be able to build an audience on social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook.
