Social Marketing Manager

World leading software provider is seeking a Social marketing Manager to join the team within the Global Audience team of the Worlds leading software provider.

They are responsible for creating repeatable, scalable and cost-effective programs to aggressively drive new customer growth and engagement. You will report directly to the senior social marketing manager and be response for a range of key areas.

The ideal candidate must be driven and work well in a fast-paced and growing environment, be flexible and possess a can-do attitude to exploit the unexpected and to succeed in unpredictable situations.


The Global Audience team that creates repeatable, scalable and cost-effective programs to aggressively drive new customer growth and engagement. To deliver on that challenge, we are seeking a seasoned marketing professional to fully understand measure and then extend the number of customers acquired and engaged through social platforms, programs and campaigns.

Reporting directly to Senior Manager, Social Marketing

Responsibilities include:

• Support the overall Marketing and Social Marketing Strategy and plans as driven by team manager, ensuring all social programs and campaigns are aligned and executed to clear KPIs.

• As part of the Brand Ambassador program, identify and engage advocates and influencers, harnessing their power to produce a dynamic, passionate and ever-expanding global online community of promoters and experts.

• Act as the social marketing campaign lead on assigned programs that cross integrated campaigns and standalone social programs.

• Develop viral and social content and experience, creating and amplifying conversations and outreach that compliment marketing programs and magnify the results.

• Build and manage social campaign calendar and deliverables, from kickoff with business and channel owners to campaign launch and post-mortem.

• Develop and execute the campaign on time, on brief and retain responsibility for all campaign deliverables.

• Coordinate campaign deadlines and resource requirements of centralized localization, creative design, legal & reporting teams.

• Work closely with Product Management to define & drive product changes and new features that will further boost virality and customer engagement.



Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, English, PR, Communication, or related field required. Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) preferred.

• Proven success in related field, with experience linking social media and viral strategies with other key acquisition channels, like SEM, SEO and PR.

• At home with social and location services (like Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Flickr, YouTube, blogs, Google +, Pinterest, Tumblr etc.) and a proven understanding of key social media and viral levers, tools and tracking mechanisms

• Copywriting skills essential

• Strong ability to anticipate future consequences accurately, demonstrate broad knowledge and perspective, articulate a credible vision of a future state and develop the plans required to get there, and connect tactical activities to a strategic context.

Knowledgably prioritize available information; draw accurate conclusions that influence project decisions and direction towards the highest positive impact and best possible outcome in terms of ROI and organisational learning.
