This position is a 6 month contract, through the end of the year, and is open due to an increase in workload for the Digital Marketing team. There is no current budget or headcount available for a perm position, so the candidates must be comfortable as a contractor. The manager hopes to gain budget to take this role into 2014, but there are no promises right now. The manager is looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing, and energetic candidate to fill this role. There are multiple social media channels to maintain, and the tasks are ever-changing. The candidate must be flexible to switch tasks on short notice, and jump into a project whenever needed. The ability to multi-task will be highly valuable in this role. An important aspect about this position to note is that it will be part-time – 10-15 hours/week to start, with the potential to ramp up to 20 hours/week during busy periods. The part-time nature is due to budgeting at this time. The manager is looking for experience in creating content for social media, but the experience can come from a variety of areas. The manager is flexible to see candidates who may have gained the experience from college or internships, as well as previous positions held, of course. This role may be ideal for a fresh graduate looking to gain some freelancing experience, and the manager is open to this type of candidate.

The social media team would like to bring in talent on a part-time and project basis.

They would love to see portfolios of people who are doing cool and innovative things with new platforms (esp. Pinterest, Instagram, Vine)

Doesn't necessarily have to be fashion or retail, just COOL executions and strategy.

Someone who can take a look at their current efforts and enhance them and be part of the execution as well.

This would be very part-time and we should start building up a pool of consultants at a variety of hourly rates.
