Description:

We are looking for a talented Social Media Community Coordinator for a Fortune 500 company in Dallas, TX. The main goal of this role will be utilizing social media to deliver best-in-class content marketing, driving brand awareness and sales) and customer service for the North America region.

The role :
- Serve as the day-to-day liaison between the brand and its external, online communities (across all active networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Google+, etc)
- Work closely with other team functions such as Brand, PR, Legal, Customer Marketing, Merchandising and SEO in order to manage the creation (ideation, copy writing, proofing, asset creation) and posting of a monthly editorial and content calendar
- Serve as the crucial bridge between our customers on social media platforms and Customer Services with regards to escalation and resolution of any customer service issues or complaints made within our online communities. This includes the monitoring of external review sites and forums (such as Feefo and Trustpilot)
- Work closely with Analytics in order to create and deliver regular regional reporting for all Owned Social Media activity
- Continual assessment of emerging social media platforms and recommendations on innovative ways to engage with customers (existing and potential) through the use of social media

Skills/Qualifications :
- Solid experience with Social Media and online communities
- Proven track record in managing social media channels
- Experience in content creation, copywriting, editing and implementation/posting
- Experience of working seamlessly as part of a broader marketing / communications team
- Practical experience of community moderation / management as well as experience of building advocacy and engagement across multiple channels
- Intimate familiarity with existing and emerging social media platforms
- First-rate communication skills, both verbal and written English and excellent attention to detail
- Familiarity with content creation (image / audio / video)
- Crisis management experience preferred
- Ability to think strategically and creatively, self-starter
- Good planning, presentation and organisational skills
- Advanced computer skills, including a high proficiency in social media CMS tools such as ConverSocial, Hootesuite, Radian6 ( or similar relevant platforms)
