Social & PR Senior Account Manager - Travel, Pharma, Tech, FMCG

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Sydney’s leading award-winning integrated agencies. You will take the lead on the social media team and will be responsible for the day-to-day requirements of the PR outputs. You’re a multi-talented communications professional, switched on, dynamic and results-driven. This role might blur the definition of PR & Social, but you’re cool with that because you believe when it’s done well, you are simply connecting with an audience in the most effective and efficient way.
 

THE ROLE:

This is a creative, integrated agency so no day will look the same, you’ll be guaranteed a variety of tasks across PR, events, stunts, experiential, social media, community management, content and influencer engagement. You believe in the power of creativity to reach an audience, and will always look for ways to create amazing work for your clients.

You will be tertiary qualified, ideally with around 3-5 years of consumer PR experience ideally gained in a local agency working on either consumer lifestyle, travel brands and/or tech. What is essential is your ability to lead accounts without being micro managed by The PR Director. If you are highly driven and hungry for new opportunities, this is the role for you. Knowledge of the Australian media landscape is essential, as is your knowledge of the back end of social media/ ads manager. Experience-wise, my client is looking to engage a mid-weight candidate, with the salary reflective of this.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implementing social strategies to maximise performance

Managing end-to-end campaigns across PR and Social

Social media analytics and reporting

Boosting ads and scheduling

Creating quality social content

Community management

Media pitching

Day-to-day account management responsibilities

Delivering strategies in line with the clients’ time frames and project deadlines

Delivering of PR and Social media KPIs

Assisting the Senior Account Manager and PR Director with invoicing, finance and team planning

Team management (1 to 2 junior executives)
 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years’ experience in PR, Social Media and account management in an agency

Proven ability to exceed KPIs and manage client expectations

Social content creation and community management experience

Experience with social media monitoring tools

Project Management experience and the ability to handle multiple projects with competing deadlines

Capacity planning and time management

Great verbal and written communication skills

Experience working across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc
