Site Merchandising Manager

This position is responsible for the operation of a department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related

responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.

Essential Functions

An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Influences cross-functional business leaders in establishing business objectives and goals by collaborating with business partners; partnering to

problem solve and gain alignment; developing and sharing insights on a regular basis; championing best practices and standards to cross-functional

partners; representing site in cross-functional task forces, initiatives, and projects; and participating in cross-functional business reviews.

Provides leadership within Site Merchandising team by participating in and leading resource planning; establishing and implementing best practices;

coordinating and managing team work assignments; providing advice, feedback, and support to team associates; managing timelines and work

quality; modeling and helping others develop skills necessary to adapt to change or new challenges; and acting as an effective advocate for the team

with business leaders.

Identifies and establishes department-, category-, or campaign-level key performance indicators (KPIs), benchmarks, and forecasts by analyzing

performance data to identify opportunities and issues; optimizing go forward strategies to hit target performance; making appropriate adjustments to

in-season site programming; sharing insights with cross-functional leadership; communicating insights to leverage across site team; running ad hoc

reports to understand specific issues; monitoring and analyzing competitive landscape; and recommending and prioritizing statistical test (for

example, A/B) ideas.

Provides direction to the creative team by submitting detailed work requests or briefs; providing business objectives and performance insights;

influencing cross-functional creative and production processes and implementation; determining and providing appropriate feedback; and approving

final visual merchandising assets to be used on the site.

Develops and plans the visual merchandising and seasonal site strategies of departments and campaigns by ensuring strategies are based on

category knowledge, site performance data, sales plans/forecasting, and marketing plans; prioritizing efforts based on strategic importance and sales

potential; strategizing and developing specific site hierarchy structures; supporting multi-channel customer focus; strategizing effective integration

points; developing, communicating,

and implementing processes and best practices; and monitoring competitive websites for merchandising opportunities.

Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and

ensuring diversity awareness.

Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by

implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing

business processes and practices.

Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments for Site Merchandising by developing and maintaining relationships with

key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building

accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability

and promoting continuous learning.

Planning and Improvement: Plan and Pursue Team-Based Improvement - Coordinates and aligns planning with organizational initiatives and

direction. Looks at work plans and makes changes, as needed, to achieve team or work group objectives. Sets realistic timelines for goal

accomplishment. Improves work processes and practices to increase performance and results.

Influence and Communicate: Increase Commitment - Promotes ideas and links them to business needs and benefits. Builds trusting, cooperative

relationships and alliances with others, inside and outside of the organization. Effectively communicates clear, up-to-date information on business.
