Our client is looking for a talented, enthusiastic, detail-oriented Site Merchandiser Specialist with strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills to join our strategic vendor support team. You will work directly with a strategic vendor partner to develop their business, acting as a liaison and executing a joint business plan.

The Site Merchandiser Specialist position offers an exciting introduction to our on-line retail business and a broad training ground for future success. This role will work directly with a strategic vendor to grow their business and achieve qualitative and quantitative goals while working with multiple internal teams and management. The role will develop skills and work across all three functional areas (Vendor Management, In-stock and Site Merchandising) to grow and improve their vendor's success. The Site Merchandiser Specialist role will be responsible for the following:
· Acting as the ‘business owner’ for his or her vendor in their respective categories, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact the business
·
· This entails owning forecasting, monitoring, and reporting, along with driving strategic projects and promotions to achieve business objectives
· Proactively negotiating costs, promotional opportunities, and other business inputs for the vendor — autonomously
· Conducting pricing and ROI analysis to recommend initiatives that optimize profit margin
· Managing Purchase Orders and In-Stock analysis for the strategic vendor
· Producing and scheduling content on product detail pages and homepages
· Helping with numerous marketing and email efforts, analyzing site promotion performance and making recommendations on marketing plans
The successful candidate is an effective communicator and problem-solver and is able to balance the needs and requirements of both the client and the strategic vendor. Our environment is very fast-paced, and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple teams and management.

Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree
Experience using Excel and database tools

Preferred Qualifications
· 1+ years of retail and/or online experience preferred
· Experience in marketing and/or finance, with a track record of successful relationship management, strong analytical acumen, and experience generating and managing reporting and analysis
· Exhibits a strong bias for action and is results-oriented, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
· Strong database, excel and computer skill
· Highly organized, flexible, easily adapts to changes
· Ability to work in a highly-demanding, but collegial environment where teamwork is a must
· Strong communication skills
· Intermediate-level software and editing tools (including XML and Excel)
