Site Manager, eCommerce Real Estate and Workplace

The Site Manager - eCREW will be a part of the eCommerce Real Estate & Workplace team, responsible helping Associates "live well" at work. The team supports all GeC Associates by providing amenities and workplace services, as well as driving real estate strategy and sustainability initiatives.

The Site Manager oversees eCREW operations for an assigned facility, including management of resources, contract negotiations, and security and leasing processes. The position will manage projects to drive improvements to local workplace services, amenities, and work space. The Site Manager will also be responsible for effectively managing and mentoring eCREW facility staff. This position will report to an eCommerce Real Estate & Workplace Manager. The ideal candidate will possess the following: strategic thinking competence, strong organizational, communication and facilitation skills; superior attention to detail; effectiveness in building relationships; negotiation skills.

This position is responsible for the operation of a department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.

Essential Functions

An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Oversees reception and security processes for assigned eCommerce facility by scheduling personnel to ensure full coverage; monitoring reception traffic volumes and adjusting personnel coverage accordingly; determining security requirements and resource needs (for example, security guards);partnering with Home Office security teams to ensure alignment on security practices and guidelines; assigning resources to support special projects; responding to and ensuring resolution of security issues; and coordinating with Human Resources (HR) on security issues and violations.

Negotiates contracts and agreements (for example, security, janitorial, movers, copiers, vending) for assigned facility by identifying potential vendors and contractors; reviewing and revising contract language; partnering with the Legal Department and management on agreements to ensure company requirements are met; and monitoring vendors and contractors to ensure contract terms are fulfilled.

Oversees the leasing process for assigned facility by working with business partners to determine facility needs (for example, location, size); visiting potential facility locations; ensuring space requirements meet current and future needs; serving as the liaison for new building tenants to ensure facilities meet business needs; evaluating potential options and determining solutions; and making recommendations to Real Estate teams regarding the best solution.

Manages and implements emergency management and building safety plans and programs (for example, pandemic planning, evacuation plans) by monitoring and restocking emergency supplies; acting as the main point of contact regarding emergencies; working with cross-functional partners to develop evacuation and disaster response plans; ensuring associates receive required emergency response training; and coordinating with external emergency services.

Manages projects (for example, office design, maintenance, sustainability and wellness programs, transit programs) for assigned facility by gathering and analyzing data and research on associate expectations and industry trends; determining programs to meet facility goals; addressing needs of the local associate population; coordinating with vendors to establish service offerings; consulting with internal teams to determine requirements; prioritizing projects based on immediate and critical needs; monitoring activities and outcomes of initiatives and reporting on that progress; ensuring plans meet expectations; and communicating progress to senior leadership.

Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.

Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.

Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field AND 1 year experience in real estate, office management, space planning, or related field


3 years of experience in real estate, office management, space planning, or related field.

1 year of supervisory experience.
