Contract only position ending 1/30/15. Due to volume of work, there is the possible need for a contract extension. Needed in-house Monday- Friday 8:30-5:30.
This position will focus on rebranding of a library of existing elements (sell sheets, emails, landing pages) The writer will work will work with a designer and be responsible to make sure existing pieces are in our updated brand, have current information, and are easy to understand. Some projects will result in just edits while others would need a complete re-write.
As part of the Agency, you’ll work directly with print and interactive art directors to create business-to-business marketing pieces that effectively drive sales and support the Staples Advantage brand (which targets mid- to large-size companies), an integral part of the overall brand.
Be versatile in many different marketing vehicles as projects range from direct mail and promotional pieces to email marketing campaigns, landing pages and a full range of collateral to support our field sales force. Be able to move quickly and comfortably between multiple projects.
Work closely with the designer to develop concepts and present a range of work that shows a thoughtful approach to the strategy. Be able to see through the eyes of our business customer and write smart, approachable copy that makes them look forward to every interaction with us.
Continuously raise the bar on creative assignments and be open and able to act on constructive feedback. Also, be able to balance creativity with fast-changing business needs.
