SharePoint Specialist Contract Position Requirements

This role is responsible for working with SharePoint Support Team, along with personnel from the business, to convert identified business needs into SharePoint 2010/SharePoint 2013 solutions. This role is not only responsible for identifying business needs, the role requires the ability to work with the appropriate staff to implement effective solutions based upon SharePoint best practices and client standards. This role will be a key team member as the client uses SharePoint 2013 to enhance its implementation of SharePoint as an intranet solution, as a collaboration environment and as a part of an overall Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution.

This role requires the following proven, hands-on skills:

1. Expertise in all aspects of SharePoint 2010 lists, libraries, web parts, page layouts, etc. (experience with SharePoint 2013 strongly desired)

2. Expertise in implementing & supporting SharePoint as an intranet solution and as a collaboration environment

3. Expertise with content types (planning & creation) and content type publishing using a Content Type Syndication Hub

4. Expertise in all aspects of SP 2010 document and records management functionality, including best practices

5. Expertise with the use of SharePoint Designer to create business solutions

6. Expertise in working with managed metadata (Term Store, Managed Metadata Columns, etc.)

7. Significant experience with developing and implementing SharePoint workflows (OOB and SP Designer)

8. Experience with InfoPath forms is a plus

9. Ability to work effectively with staff members who have limited SharePoint skills

10. Ability to train, coach and mentor staff to increase SharePoint knowledge and skills

11. Ability to take a lead role on projects, or portions of projects, with minimal supervision

12. Ability to troubleshoot & resolve issues

13. Ability to effectively communicate with team members and function effectively in a team environment

14. Ability to effectively document business needs and resulting solutions

15. Ability to provide backup support for the SharePoint Administrator, including some SharePoint farm responsibilities
