A newly created senior UX Architect position within a well-known national entity. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned UX professional who is passionate about applying their human-centred design thinking and expertise to customer touch points. This role will provide expert support to the design team by creating prototypes, conceptual designs and detailed designs for digital solutions that meet specified customer needs

Key aspects of the role will include:

The design of customer experiences, supporting 'design thinking' methodology across the business to provide creative, innovative and appropriate solutions to customer challenges.
Working within agile environments, using relevant practices and principles such as Lean UX, user stories, acceptance criteria, and rapid prototyping
Support the Design Lead by conducting the UX design for projects such as: ideation, creation of personas and customer journeys, service blueprints, conceptual design, sketching, wireframing, prototyping, detailed design, while using inclusive design.
Plan UX design scope and approach, developing design frameworks and layouts, identifying relevant best practices and drawing design inspiration from the broader community, industry and marketplace
Be a strong advocate for good UX design practices and standards, and be able to articulate your reasoning to different stakeholders within the business.
Be able to translate your team's discussions and ideas into conceptual designs, and guides ensuring discussions to drive to a strong design which reflects customer and business needs
Identify and use appropriate tools (practices, materials and software) to work to the timeline of the project; e.g. online user testing tools, online shared wireframing tools
Work closely with developers, ensuring an optimal customer experience is maintained through their build of your designs, and helping them understand the rationale behind
Work collaboratively with stakeholders
Experience

3+ years as a UX designer, able to take ideas from sketches, through prototyping, wireframing, and into detailed design
A natural problem solver – you believe great design is fundamental to a great solution
Be able to translate your team's discussions and ideas into conceptual designs, and guide ensuing discussions to drive to a strong design which reflects customer and business needs
Happy to work quickly, to take new ideas and turn them into tangible solutions
