Service Catalog/Instructional Designer

We are looking for a Service Catalog Consultant to help us push the boundaries of what can be accomplished in both current and next generation of cloud services. The ideal candidate will have proven building an effective service catalog from a disparate set of documentation and processes, delivering results in efficiency and satisfaction. As a member of our highly collaborative and motivated team, you will work with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical staff to deliver effectively against commitments.

Responsibilities
• Engage with service owners and subject matter experts to understand use cases, find existing documentation, and identify pain points. Map out ecosystem.
• Apply service catalog discipline to collate services into logical groups, build secondary service / process drill-downs, and tie out necessary documentation. Gain SC approval.
• Based on identified pain points, process gaps / inefficiencies, & outdated documentation, develop a prioritized plan to address via 3 releases (final version due June 1).
o v1 “quick / dirty” by Feb 1 to get something published,
o v2 “much improved” by April 1 to address 75% key issues and 50% total issues
o v3 “optimal” by June 1 to address 100% key issues and 90% total issues.
• Manages deliverables and actions / owners against plan, reporting status to management, identifying risks and managing corrective action plans to stay on schedule.
• Maintain a high level of organization and planning while communicating with stakeholders to reach timelines and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in response to changing or ambiguous situations, directing changes through appropriate review and approval mechanisms.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of creating Service Catalogs from scratch.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
• Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities.
• Outstanding proactive communication skills: written, verbal, presentations.
• Strong interpersonal and consulting skills to establish and maintain internal and external partnerships globally, negotiating risk against other business factors.
• Self-driven, analytical, and results oriented with proven sound judgment.
• Positive influence to lead through frequent ambiguity / uncertainty / change.
• Business savvy including the ability to see and convey the big picture.
• Experience with information security organizations a plus.
