Our client, a media and technology company based in Central London are looking for a Senior Implementation Manager to work in their buzzing eCommerce department.

As Senior Implementation Manager, it will be your responsibility to take ownership over online delivery for a workstream and/or business area. You will be driving online change and initiate projects to improve the overall user experience on the site.

You will need 5+ years of experience in online delivery, leading and managing web change. You will also have strong experience of user centred design processes; and demonstrate experience of working closely with designers and UX architects. You will also have experience of running content managed HTML/CSS/Java Script delivery.

Previous similar experience in an eCommerce environment would be highly desirable.

This role is offered on a temp to perm basis with a salary of £50K - £55K.

Taking ownership over online delivery for a workstream and/or business area
• Consolidate and validate overarching requirements, brief and prioritise into technology
• Accept and sign-off deliverables from the technology division
• Own stability and performance requirements and drive technology to deliver
• Ensure a consistently high quality of site change
• Drive continuous online process improvement
Principle responsibilities
• Work closely with user experience, design and production to design and deliver best-in-class online customer experiences
• Be primary internal point of contact for all online technology change in your area of responsibility
• Promote and initiate online experience improvements by leveraging your domain expertise and exploiting the full capabilities of our systems
• Gain and apply domain knowledge of the relevant site(s) and supporting systems to support eCommerce team in viable design and experience execution
• Working with technology to ensure online strategic needs are correctly reflected in technology strategy, e.g. a web architecture to deliver a single customer experience
• Briefing change into technology and working with development, test and support teams to ensure quality delivery, to time and budget
• Manage user acceptance processes and script preparation
• Prioritise and plan in releases amongst wider business change and help technology shape their release plans to align
• Identify and clarify customer facing issues, raise actionable tickets and chase resolution
• Running content managed HTML/CSS/Javascript delivery
• Ensure delivery of viable designs and experiences for functional site areas
• Own assigned tasks in the eCommerce workstack
• Validate quality of deliverables from external suppliers and agencies
• Working with technology to agree code and accessibility standards that integrate with our online style guidelines
