Senior Website Manager

Our tech client is looking for a Senior candidate to manage their website working with content, design, and developers from concept to execution; helping identify innovative ideas for delivering an end-user experience that delights prospects, customers, and partners; and ultimately driving sales leads. The ideal candidates are able to understand the creative requirements almost as well as a designer, the technical requirements almost as well as a developer and communicate both in a way that results in clear tasks that need to be completed and the perfect solution being delivered. Ideal candidates are also able to roll up their sleeves, be hands-on, and proactively collaborate across internal teams.

Responsibilities:
• Manage development and governance of web properties
• Supervise and coordinate external agencies, consultants and staff during development of the new website and ongoing site maintenance
• Produce a roadmap and drive a release and content updates schedule—keeping yourself and everyone around you focused and organized
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with a team of developers, designers, and marketers as well as the senior management of the company
• Identify, evaluate, and manage additional 3rd party technologies and integrations
• Serve as technical liaison between the development team and the marketing team
• Assign and oversee daily web development and web application work performed by development team
• Create technical and functional specifications in support of ongoing projects
• Manage bug reporting and task progress
• Generate management reports and provide weekly progress reports on projects

Qualifications:
• Extremely knowledgeable with WordPress (other CMS a plus)
• Prior experience working at a SaaS company is preferred
• Experience managing and delivering web and mobile website development projects
• Experienced in Agile software development processes, using tools like JIRA and Confluence
• Experience managing dispersed teams across several time zones
• Experience managing project budgets and timelines for success
• An understanding of UI/UX principles, as they apply to successful software products today
• Experience in wire framing and mapping out user flows
• Have an eye for good design and a demonstrated delivery of excellent user experience
• Exceptional ability to articulate business and product requirements to engineering in timely manner
• Ability to translate business needs into structured, consumable specifications
• Experience negotiating priorities and trade-offs both internally and with clients
• Ability to communicate effectively on all levels, including concise verbal and written executive communication
• Bachelor's degree
• Compelling and clear communicator, written and verbal
• Excellent teamwork skills
