The Role:

The Senior Web Developer is responsible for leading the development of the corporate website and related international websites. The Developer will plan, architect, and execute new website functionality and integration with back-end and third-party systems. The Developer is also responsible for optimizing and maintaining the performance, stability, and maintainability of the website through the development and execution of testing systems, code and database optimizations, and coding standards. This role wears many hats, jumping from html template development to SQL script writing to .NET control testing to jQuery animation plugin writing.

Your Focus:
Work closely with the web team, other internal teams, and external contractors to develop, test, and deploy new website functionality, owning the development process from start to finish
Prioritize, respond to, and execute technical website requests, delegating requests to junior developers as necessary
Maintain and optimize the website content management system, configure and update the software regularly, ensure the proper functionality of all aspects of the website from simple content blocks to template localization for international content
Develop and execute automated testing frameworks to ensure website health, performance, and browser compatibility
Write, maintain, and enforce web development and deployment standards, including detailed documentation and training for other internal and external developers
Own website integration with internal and external back-end systems to optimize the display of dynamic data on the website and enable seamless transition between different sub-sites for website visitors
Who you are:

BA or BS degree in IT or technical field required, MA or MS preferred
Expert skills in .NET, C#, AJAX, SQL, javascript, html, css
Experience managing, developing for, and optimizing content management systems
Ability to quickly learn and apply new web technologies
Ability to work as a self-starter and team player in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communications, time management, and organizational skills
Creativity in business and technical problem solving
