Vitamin T's client, a tech and business consulting company, is looking for a Senior Visual Designer to join their team. This is a temp-to-perm role!

Role Overview:

The Visual Designer is a versatile and creative problem-solver with a passion for reinventing the digital space. They will join a diverse team of Strategists, Copywriters, and Creatives with disciplines across graphic, illustration, motion and interaction design, that together are committed to making innovative and impactful experiences. This individual will be a talented, entrepreneurial-minded creative with a passion for making beautiful best-in class work, show exceptional aesthetics sense as part of their portfolio, and committed to fostering the talent of employees they help manage. They have a wide variety of graphic design skills from the creation of brand identity systems to digital interfaces that live across devices and platforms. They are a hands-on collaborative team player that will participate at every stage of the project, from brainstorming concepts, developing the campaigns, participating in client presentations, all while meeting deadlines through launch.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the teams to develop and establish user-centric, interactive visual designs
• Design new and creative approaches that facilitate user understanding and logical manner
• Ability to understand market research and conduct brand, product, service audits focused on the visual design systems and their application to corporate, service and product identities
• Ability to create visual language concepts, mood definition, behaviors, early design routes and presentation materials that articulate strategic design intent
• Produce design elements for site development and collaborate with the development team to ensure visual consistency

Requirements:
• 3-5 years of visual design experience. Designing for touch and/or mobile interfaces is a plus.
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates your graphic design thinking, e.g. brand identity systems, digital interface design for products, websites, mobile, tablet and tv.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills – the ability to work with Art Directors and mentor other designers.
• Strong conceptual thinking. A solid understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, interactions, site architecture, and user interfaces.
• A solid understanding of how to communicate a brands personality through design and at all consumer touch points.
• Bachelor's Degree in Design- or User Experience-related major.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and browser capabilities
• A passion for product and web application design and an aesthetic understanding of what is and could be
• Able to thrive in a fluid start-up environment, able to both take direction and go beyond what is asked for you
• Must be a great team player and an effective collaborator with excellent communication skills. It is essential that you are able to present your design rationale based on our brand, user goals, and usability, rather than personal opinion
